Looking for a good kibble for my adult Maine Coon cat. As a kitten he ate Royal Canin for Maine Coon for kittens. He loves the large kibble. Can you recommend a large kibble for adult Maine Coon cats?

Maine Coons definitely have unique needs, especially when it comes to their size and the way they eat. Providing larger kibble is a great idea, as it encourages them to chew properly rather than just gulping down their food. This is not only better for their digestion, but it can also help with dental health by reducing plaque buildup.

If you are looking for specific options, many brands now offer “large breed” or “Maine Coon-specific” formulas that feature larger, denser kibble pieces designed for stronger jaws. Aside from the size, checking the ingredient list for high-quality protein as the primary component is always a smart move to ensure they get the right nutrients for their size.

Have you noticed any particular brands that seem to be a hit with your Maine Coons so far, or are you currently exploring new options?

I have been researching some reliable resources lately,

and I found a great pet care website [link removed] that provides excellent guides on selecting the right diet for large cat breeds based on their specific nutritional requirements.
